Now that you've created Content and/or Practice Prompts, it's time to create a Campaign. You'll need to assign a Campaign to users in order for them to have something to complete. The campaign is the lego blocks to a user's BigSpring learning path.

Introduction to Campaigns

Create a Campaign

  1. From the ‘Campaigns’ page in Admin, click on ‘Add’ to create a new Campaign, or ‘Edit’ to edit a Campaign

  2. Display Name: visible to all users in the app

  3. Internal Name & ID: for internal reference

  4. Position: actual position of Campaign on BigSpring, numerical value, sorted in ascending order (lowest number on top)

  5. Dependencies: if set, this Campaign will only unlock if the dependent Campaign is completed by the user. Useful for linked Campaigns (e.g. Basic, Intermediate, Advanced)

Content management

  1. Navigate to the ‘Content’ section on a selected Campaign

  2. Search for existing Content in the first search box (where written - Search for existing Content to add them to your Campaign) to add, or create new Content

  3. Points: defaults to 50, recommended to edit to show that some Content(s) are more important (if applicable).

  4. To reorder Content, simply drag and drop

  5. Allow users to complete in any order: entire Content is unlocked and available. Don't Allow users to complete in any order: Content unlocks sequentially (the first content complete will unlock the second and so forth)

Practice Prompts management

  1. Navigate to the ‘Content’ section on a selected learning plan

  2. Search for existing Practice Prompts in the second search box (where written - Search for existing Prompts to add them to your Campaign) to add

  3. Points: defaults to 50, recommend editing to show that some Prompts(s) are more important (if applicable).

  4. To reorder Prompts within the Campaign, simply drag and drop

  5. Allow users to complete in any order: All Prompts are unlocked and available. Don't Allow users to complete in any order: Prompts unlocks sequentially (the first content complete will unlock the second and so forth)

Note

  • A Campaign can have 3 scenarios

    • 01. All Content

    • 02. All Prompts

    • 03. Mix of Prompts and content

  • A Prompt is identified by a portfolio image and all the columns are highlighted

  • Content is identified by an avatar holding a book and columns are not highlighted

Assign a Campaign

  1. Navigate to the ‘Assigned Users/Groups’ section on a selected Campaign

  2. Assign to 1 user at a time or an entire group

  3. To unassign, use the Assign toggle for a single user, or select multiple users and click ‘Deactivate’

  4. Adding a group will assign the Campaign to all users in that group now, and also all future users added to that group
